I tried to meet up with Camille Thiriet during my visit, though unfortunately, I basically ran out of days. I promised to call in at her winery in Corgoloin on my next trip to the region. However, I did make up for that by ordering her wines at restaurants so that I could at least include some available vintages in this report. With fruit from modest appellations that cover six hectares, she creates delicious, distinctive wines that, at one dinner in Beaune, surpassed far grander and more expensive bottles. I look forward to meeting Thiriet in 2025.
