The Bemberg family, Argentine industrialists with global interests, entered the wine business after selling the region's largest brewery and acquiring Grupo Peñaflor—one of the world's largest viticultural enterprises. Bemberg Wines bears the family name, a unique choice across their ventures. Located in Gualtallary, Uco Valley, with oenology led by Daniel Pi, Bember sources grapes from the Calchaquí Valley and Mendoza. Notably, Bemberg’s Chardonnay La Linterna recently underwent a substantial transformation, shifting from a ripe, oaky profile to a sharper, more refreshing style by harvesting from different vineyard plots and refining techniques. La Linterna is now one of the standout wines of Gualtallary.
