This is a stellar set of wines from the Donelan family. The 2021 Syrahs and Rhône wines, in particular, are off the charts. Winemaker David Milner once again shows an inspired touch in capturing the essence of the various sites that comprise this deeply impressive portfolio. The few wines I tasted from barrel further reinforce my view that Donelan is on a serious winning streak of late. Readers who want to explore cool-climate wines from some of the very best vineyard sites in Sonoma and neighboring appellations will want to check out these wines. Bravo!
