This is a strong set of 2021s from Red Car. Winemaker Tanner Scheer continues to refine his approach here. More than anything else Scheer has succeeded in moving the wines away from the austere of earlier years while retaining plenty of verve and tension. While Chardonnay and Pinot have long been the core of this range, the Syrahs and Cabernet Sauvignon are growing in stature. I was impressed with what I tasted.
