Vintage 2011 appears to have been quite challenging for the Bastianich family, as the wines aren't up to their usual level, perhaps because the warm growing season was too much for wines that already tend towards the richer end of the spectrum. All of these wines are made with a portion of dried grapes, an approach that adds considerable richness, something these wines appear to have plenty of on their own. Also tasted: 2014 Rosato di Refosco.
