Celestino Gaspari continues to push the boundaries at his small cellar in San Pietro in Cariano, right in the heart of the Valpolicella zone. Gaspari has carved out a very personal style that has one foot in the past and another in the future. Once the heir-apparent at Quintarelli, Gaspari's wines show some of that influence, but his wines are much more worldly. Many of the wines are made from blends of many varieties, which gives them unusual complexity. These textured, polished whites and reds are some of the most singular wines being made in Italy.
