The wines of La Palazzetta seem to be on the upswing, with a number of ranges produced within their winery from different sources, yet under the guidance of winemaker, Luca Fanti. While the wines bearing the La Palazzetta label are sourced from estate vineyards surrounding the Abbey of Sant'antimo, the range bearing the Visconti label are made from vineyards in the southeast of Castelnuovo dell'abate. Both locations are farmed organically and stylistically; the Visconti line shows a bit more upfront fruit appeal, while La Palazzetta is more powerful.
