Garcés Silva is a family winery originally founded in 1997 in Leyda, two and a half miles from the Pacific, in the Cordón Huinca ridge of the Cordillera de la Costa range. The winery manages 150 hectares of vineyards, among which the whites take center stage. Since 2012 they have also been working with mountain grapes, allowing them to experiment with different soils and exposures. Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay account for the bulk of their wines, which are bottled under the brands Amayna and Boya; the head oenologist is Diego Rivera. Their latest release is a sherry-style white under the Amayna brand.
