Elizabeth Vianna presented a stellar set of 2019s that are among her best ever. Vianna describes 2019 as a vintage where heat spikes at the end determined harvest dates as opposed to 2018, where picking was more relaxed. Even so, I find the 2019s to mostly have terrific energy, but less concentration than the 2018s, a year with high yields that required more bleeding during vinification.
