Andreola continues to impress, truly showing the high quality and diverse terroir of the steep hillside vineyards within the Rive category of Valdobbiadene Prosecco. Winemaker Stefano Pola is a master of both the Extra Dry (which is actually sweet with enough acidity to perceive dryness), as well as Extra Brut (actually dry) styles. This is one of those portfolios where I suggest readers explore the entire range to see the differences from site to site.
