Steven Hansel’s 2022 Pinots are just as impressive today as they were a few months ago when I tasted them from tank prior to bottling. The warm growing season baked out some of the micro-differences found in this range in less traumatic years, but the wines still show plenty of character. Best of all, the Hansel Pinots remain some of the finest values readers will find in small-production Russian River wine.
