The 2014s are wines of transition at Hirsch. These are the last wines made by Ross Cobb, before he handed the reins over to Anthony Filiberti. I tasted most of the 2014s from barrel with Cobb in May 2015. Since then, the wines have developed very nicely, as these notes show. Naturally, it will be interesting to see what proprietor Jasmine Hirsch and Filiberti do in the next incarnation of this venerable Sonoma Coast estate.
