Co-owner/winemaker David Low described 2007 as "a vintage where nature played everything right." The wines, he went on, "are balanced between richness and energy, with really good depth but also great expression. It's hard to think of any faults." This winery is firmly in the low-impact school of pinot noir, with the wines emphasizing subtlety over power, like those made by Wells Guthrie at Copain. They seem to have found their audience, as about the only access to these wines is via their already full mailing list, or at a few restaurants around the country.
