Ulysse Collin

Sadly, Olivier and Sandra Collin only have two new releases this year, as they have decided to give most of their wines more time in the cellar. The good news is that both are superb. I especially admire the Pierrières this year. As always, the wines are fermented in barrel, handled minimally and bottled with low dosage. The link to the growers who influenced Oliver Collin in his earlier days is evident (most notably Anselme Selosse), and yet Collin has a style that is very much his own.
