Jonathan Maltus's 2013s are defined by the textural richness and depth, both signatures of the house style. The entry level Teyssier is made from a number of parcels across Saint Emilion. Le Dôme, Les Astiéries and Le Carré are essays that explore the unique qualities of small single parcels in Saint Emilion, an approach more typical of Burgundy than Bordeaux. Vieux Château Mazerat is the larger property from which Le Dôme had previously been carved out a dozen years prior, while Laforge is a distinct collection of vineyards around Saint Emilion. All of the Maltus wines are listed separately.
