Collector's Dinner: Montevertine Le Pergole Torte | 6:30pm | The Fifth Avenue Hotel

Antonio Galloni hosts a very special Collector’s Dinner featuring Montevertine’s Le Pergole Torte, one of Italy's most iconic wines. Proprietor Martino Manetti makes his first appearance in New York City in more than a decade for what is sure to be a magnificent evening. Guests will have a rare opportunity to taste multiple vintages of Le Pergole Torte through a curated vertical tasting paired with a multi-course dinner at one of New York’s most elegant fine-dining establishments. Please note that space is extremely limited.

Collector's Lunch: Querciabella: The Heart of Sangiovese | 12:00pm | Manhatta

Hosted by Antonio Galloni, this Collector’s Lunch offers a deep dive into the unique terroirs of Greve, Radda, Lamole and Gaiole through Querciabella’s top-tier Gran Seleziones, wines that have been in the works for more than a decade but that are just being released now. Guests will taste multiple vintages of the single-vineyard Sangiovese, as well as some surprises along the way, Owner Andrea Aparicio and Winemaker Manfred Ing will be on hand to share their perspectives. Built on a long tradition of innovation, Querciabella is one of the most exciting estates in Tuscany today.

Masterclass: Hidden in Plain Sight – The Many Varieties of Trebbiano | 12:00pm | Hall des Lumières

Vinous critic Eric Guido leads a tasting and panel discussion on the remarkable diversity of Trebbiano. Through a curated tasting featuring several reference-point Trebbianos, guests will discover how terroir, tradition and local clonal selections intersect to reflect the true potential of this ancient grape.

Masterclass: Exploring the Pieves of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano | 2:30pm | Hall des Lumières

Hosted by Eric Guido, this masterclass offers an in-depth look at Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, one of Tuscany’s most historic appellations. This tasting of benchmark wines from leading estates will explore the elegance, structure and ageworthy character of Sangiovese grown in Montepulciano’s distinctive terroirs with a focus on the new Pieve designation. 

 Icons Walk-Around Tasting – Day One | 4:30pm – 7:30pm | Hall des Lumières

The first evening of the Vinous Icons walk-around tasting brings together over 75 producers from across Italy. Curated by the Vinous team of critics, this immersive tasting experience offers guests the opportunity to explore an exceptional range of wines while engaging directly with winemakers and estate representatives in the spectacular setting of Hall des Lumières.

In this masterclass, Eric Guido leads a deep exploration of the terroirs of Montalcino through the lens of the lauded 2019 vintage. This selection of Brunello di Montalcino from top estates will exemplify how the different zones within the appellation shape the character of these iconic wines.

This masterclass hosted by Antonio Galloni highlights the incredible breadth and depth of Piedmont, one of the world’s great wine regions. Through a curated tasting of wines from a range of iconic estates, guests will explore the noble grape varieties and distinctive terroirs that define the region’s rich winemaking heritage.

Icons Walk-Around Tasting – Day Two | 4:30pm – 7:30pm | Hall des Lumières

Day Two of the Vinous Icons walk-around tasting offers another opportunity to taste wines from over 75 producers representing some of Italy’s most respected estates. Meet winemakers and producers while exploring an extraordinary range of wines that showcase the diversity and excellence of Italian viticulture.
