The Vinous Mentorship for BIPOC Wine Professionals

The last few weeks have been a time of deep introspection at Vinous. We’ve been shocked and saddened by recent events in our country. Let me be clear: we oppose systemic racism, police brutality and social injustice. From the very beginning, we have strived for a culture of inclusion. That is what the ‘o’ in our logo is designed to represent: community and togetherness. But we can do more, and we will.

Today, I am proud to announce the Vinous Mentorship for BIPOC Wine Professionals. Each year we will award two mentorships to outstanding BIPOC wine professionals who have demonstrated exemplary passion and a desire to further their careers in wine. Recipients will receive mentorship from me and other industry professionals, depending on their specific areas of interest. Full details can be found here.

I am honored to be joined in this program by the founding members of the Vinous BIPOC Advisory Board: Tahiirah Habibi, Carlton McCoy, DLynn Proctor and Brenae Royal.
