Owen Bargreen Joins VinousDear Friends –I am thrilled to announce that Owen Bargreen has joined Vinous as Editor, with responsibility for reviewing the wines of Washington State. Owen will also report on wines from emerging regions in the US as we continue to expand our coverage. I have followed Owen’s writing for several years and have been impressed with his palpable enthusiasm for wine and the stories behind each bottle. Owen has been writing about wine for more than a decade. He has reviewed thousands of wines from around the world and traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe. Owen has forged a sophisticated understanding of Washington State through spending months tasting in the region each year. As Owen takes on the Washington beat for Vinous under the mentorship of Stephen Tanzer, we look forward to reading his critical insight into the leading producers and wines of the region.
